Acrostic Poem Name Maker

Letter # 9 Letter

ONE NOT LIKE CHRISTMAS OTHER

I find myself this year to let me be troubled by the ubiquity of Father Christmas in the media. It took so much space that the child Jesus was ignored in newspapers and on television. It's just if his name was mentioned. We have not celebrated the birth of this baby but rather the passage of a person who distributes gifts. The mystery of the incarnation is ignored in favor of the magic of Santa Claus has replaced the angels.

is probably one of the consequences of the attempted reinvention Quebec culture. The sociologist Jacques Beauchemin explains beautifully highlighting the evolution of the identity of our "being together", our culture, the idea we have of ourselves. From the crystallization of the French-Canadian culture in 1840, where fierce resistance manifested against the attempt to assimilate English advocated by the Durham report, Beauchemin is remaking our culture around 1960. This followed the leader in the 1950 trial of the French-Canadian culture characterized by what were the core values the French language, Catholicism and the rural world. Of French-Canadian, we became Quebec. Consequently, the city of Montreal and its suburbs now comprises half of Quebecers. The fight for the preservation of the French language has become politicized. Finally, the "pathological attachment to religion", according to Beauchemin, vanished. The trial

started in the 1950s attacked the lack of economic initiative of the French Canadians cherish their vocation farm near the city of Montreal to the west of St Lawrence, English and Protestant. No doubt that the Catholic Church has played a major role in this process which aimed to preserve the "culture and faith. For cons, the trial is still ongoing in the denunciation of all attempts at domination over individual liberties. What was considered the tenacity to face the threat as English is now considered an inhibitory effect or a collective paralysis.

undoubtedly very severe trial which began in 1950 against the alleged inaction of the French Canadians had a purpose. However, all was not so idle that sounds. In a long article entitled 'How I woke up from spiritual slumber and inched at a snail's pace to Rome, and published in the newspaper The Catholic Herald of 11 September 2009, Conrad Black, former owner of the newspaper "The Telegraph" , states as follows:

I saw the Catholic Church in Quebec, and subsequently elsewhere, deeply dedicated to the coming of the Kingdom of God, avoiding opportunistic zeal, anxious modernity without sacrificing the importance of faith, armed with intellectual arguments like, at least, those of Secular opponents or rivals, and almost always a champion of human rights ...

The predominance of the Church in education and health of Francophone Quebec has dominated for long without real opposition, but it has saved a lot in terms of wages for teachers and nurses. The Quebec government was able to devote a significant portion of its budget for what we call today the infrastructure. Duplessis has built thousands of schools, universities, Laval, Montreal and Sherbrooke as well as hundreds of hospitals and health clinics, thousands of kilometers roads, the first Canadian highway over 97% of rural electrification. Quebec has even been the pioneer of pensions for disabled and day services.

The period between 1944 until the death of Duplessis in 1959 were the only times when the economic progress of Quebec were higher than those of English Canada. Public works and social programs in Quebec fifties may seem unrelated to the merits of Catholicism, but the bishops and the clergy have been key collaborators in these years of rapid social change in addition to economic advancement.

French Canada was finally secularized (in the 60s), according to the wishes of English Canada. The difference is that education and health care provided in the same building for the same population coûtèrent 10 times more expensive to taxpayers. The new educators and medical staff were often on strike (remember the power of unions for years 70), tax and debt increase, birth rate sharply downward. Cultural rights of non-Francophones were redefined as privileges revoked.

The so-called "dark ages" now, and points more clearly than we thought. The analysis of Conrad Black has the merit to qualify as a defense counsel, the trial brought against the Church and its institutions.

Jacques Beauchemin believes that in 2010 we entered into a new identity crisis where we need to reinvent the culture of Quebec in 1960. Will we have to question the achievements of the Quiet Revolution through privatization and greater integration in the globalization of market economies? That he will soon be our Quebec identity? Fortunately, our mythical hockey team Montreal Canadiens still keep the flame of our "national" identity in both French Canadian, Quebec and Canada. Will we have more "tassels" our Habs in favor of the Quebec Nordiques for the emergence of a new identity? Unless you ask Santa!

I hosted a retreat at the parish church of St Lawrence from 5 to 8 December. During this retreat, I discussed the power of love as opposed to the love of power and our paths releasing our inner prisons while walking to a act according to our convictions. A visit to the prison in Three Rivers was also held to promote an exchange of Christmas cards.

LAST PART five episodes

THEME: ACTING IN ITS BELIEF RATHER THAN BY DUTY

Occasionally, our governments undertake economic or political. Recent crises of financial crash in the U.S. and the issue of global warming due to greenhouse mount the complexity issues, leading to the creation or imposition of new reforms. Interests are too easily lead to significant compromises essential.

For those who remember the politician Caouette Social Credit of Canada, in his colorful style, during the election campaign, he declared one day: the current government led us to the edge of precipice, ladies and gentlemen, but thanks to the Social Credit of Canada, we will take a big step forward!

The choice is ours: either wait to be "The brink" or to act in a timely manner. Can we or do we act on our beliefs or do we expect to be forced to act (our personal lives, our governments, our church!) To initiate the necessary changes?

JESUS always acts according to his beliefs even when under pressure to work miracles. It acts as the desire of his Father even chasing "violent" sellers from the Temple.

and we, what are we satisfied? Our beliefs do they bother? Rather we changing opinion in the direction of the wind? About Us believe that Jesus rose from the dead and that I will live with Him for eternity? Does this belief changed my life now? How?

AND THE CHURCH? Like any business, church regularly institutional reforms primer (think Vatican II). The complexity of the necessary changes, while remaining faithful to the teaching of Christ, makes the acceptance process very complicated. For sure, there are too many reforms. For others, it is never enough! For my part, I feel that the institutional church has done and continues to make a long way in the right direction. THE MAIN ENGINE OF CHANGE IS THE WILL TO SERVE THE LORD AND PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL.

The RAGE, which poisons the brokenhearted people wounded by the abuse of power by the institutional church, has become a prison, a hell extremely in the revolt that makes us suffer.

refusal to forgive is like keeping a torch burning in the palm of the hand. We must launch this brand as far as possible before it burns the heart and reduce our lives to ashes (from Donald Marcoux story about the will a mother to her children).

CONCLUSION OF THE RETIREMENT

the example of Jesus is the power of love must guide our beliefs and not the love of power.

To get out of our inner prisons, we must clean our tasks and our chains DETACHED refusal to love and forgive. We are asked to give up OUR PRIDE OF INDEPENDENCE to clothe the garment of addiction as a child in the arms of his mother or his father.

the example of Jesus, baptized as:

WE PLEDGE NOT TO ABUSE OF POWER OF OUR PLOT

WE REFUSE TO LIVE IN FEAR OF HELL

WE BELIEVE THAT GOD LOVES

JESUS IS THE DELIVERER HOME OUR PRISONS

JESUS HELL OUT OF OUR accordance ON THIS ROAD THAT LEADS TO THE "GOOD GOD"

THE CHRISTMAS PARTY IS FIRST MEMORIES OF THE BIRTH OF THE CHILD GOD AND NOT THE PARTY OF THE ABUSIVE BEBEL "SANTA" ADVERTISING

I facilitated a retreat parish church of St Lawrence from 5 to 8 December. During this retreat, I discussed the power of love as opposed to the love of power and our paths releasing our inner prisons while walking to a act according to our convictions. A visit to the prison in Three Rivers was also held to promote an exchange of Christmas cards.

PART FOUR of five episodes

THEME: OUR HELL accordance

Read: Gospel of Luke 23, 33-34, 39-46

It may seem strange to read a passage from the passion of Jesus as we meditate on the feast of Christmas. Yet we are an extension of Christmas. From the birth of Jesus, Herod used his ABSOLUTE POWER FOR MURDER OF INNOCENT CHILDREN. Now it is the religious authorities of the Temple of Jerusalem, in connivance with political power, abusing their power. The Pharisees and doctors of Jewish law have erected their religion in a SYSTEM OF INTOLERANCE AND EXTREMISM where their god has turned into an idol. Here we are talking again an abuse of power. THIS! THIS IS HELL!

HELL IS A HELL accordance ON WE OWN ON OUR PLOT OF POWER ON OUR DESIRES OF DOMINANCE ON OUR PRIVILEGES AND OUR RIGHTS ACQUIRED

Because we already been hurt, we still often very badly. Our old wounds still hurt us. We realize that sometimes we tend to get Hell sea on ourselves by thinking so we avoid suffering. By trying to suffer less, we suffer even more because we hell mons in our sorrows and traumas. We go to jail. We live the hell .

One day in Congo-Zaire, I met an old woman who took a certain pleasure to come bothering us at all times. She swore if she was not happy by pretending to be sick. Nobody knew what to do? They even came to us to close our office doors if one saw coming. But more intelligent than us, she walked around the house and came to bother us anyway. It was eventually nicknamed "Madam Calamity." Good! I confess it's not very charitable to do that, seeing her, you would have understood.

short, we learn one day that Mrs. Calamity gets sick. Ill be in the bottom of a bush is to wish someone. A simple illness can be fatal. Thus, women of the Legion of Mary Parish, taking courage in both hands, decide to go in his quest to rescue her. After long hours of walking behind the hills, they are received with insults and hardness by Our Lady. It really was not convenient.

- We come to visit you, they say.

- I want no part of you. Go away!

- We do not want you no harm. We just want to pray for you.

- Pray! No, no, I'm not interested. Go!

- Listen! You are not baptized. You see that you are very sick. You can die and if you die without receiving baptism, you'll go to hell.

- In hell! What is that, hell?

- This is the eternal fire!

- What! Fire!

- Yes, yes, the eternal fire!

- bin Ha! I'm always cold at night. is where I want to go !

Hell, not stories of devils, flame and terror. Hell, we côtoyons whenever we hell mons on ourselves when we we go on in a refusal of love that turns into a force of regression and withdrawal.

HELL we fixed in an attitude of extreme solitude, a withdrawal into ourselves which stubbornly refuse to compromise in the management of our autonomy, our independence, our freedom of choice, finally in our "power to control" our lives. It is in this sense that we are Herod.

Where does our reflex of extremely hell ? Have it, very often we refuse to trust others and even God.

ALL OUR STORIES OF HELL HAVE THEIR SOURCE IN A LACK OF LOVE.

HELL is we'll be alone thinking that it's better to enjoy the solitude rather than admit that we need others. That people prefer to remain strong and independent, and suffer terribly, rather than accept the joy of being weak, vulnerable and dependent.

God, we read in the Gospel we so loved that became one of us. He "embodied" by becoming a baby completely vulnerable and dependent. God himself in Jesus took the risk of love by offering its vulnerability to a cross in a total recount.

Moreover, Jesus descended into hell , as stated in our creed. Where is he staying?

He descended into hell all extremely our inner prisons, our pain of living, our traumas and injuries.

Jesus take us by the hand to pick ourselves up, to comfort us, to enlighten us in a new light.

Jesus is our sun in the night of our infernal tombs.

Jesus is the one that opens the doors closed, the gates of our prisons inside of the box containing the doubts which we hell Meas. He broke the chains of our attachments.

With misleading advertising, we have ruled out or remove the MYSTERY OF THE INCARNATION hell for us in a sea rather CYCLE OF ABUSE OF POWER based on our financial power. The Bebelle Santa Claus have become more important as the anniversary of the birth of baby Jesus.

Continued tomorrow: act according to his convictions rather than by obligation

Can A Wart Be Removed From A Dog's Lip?

Letter # 6 Letter

I hosted a retreat at the parish church of St Lawrence from 5 to 8 December. During this retreat, I discussed the power of love as opposed to the love of power and our paths of liberation our inner prisons while walking to a act according to our convictions. A visit to the prison in Three Rivers was also held to promote an exchange of Christmas cards.

THIRD PARTY five episodes

THEME: PATH OF LIBERATION OF OUR PRISONS HOME

Read: Gospel of Luke 9: 35-37

Yesterday, we saw that HEROD LIVED IN PRISON: the fear of losing power. We wondered who we were like most: Jesus or Herod. We understand that everyone of us, including our institutions, we live in prisons where the "power" that we do we can easily lead to abuse or WEAKEST most vulnerable such as children. The consequences are catastrophic and poison entire lives.

WHAT IS MY PRISON?

A friend told me this. One day, during a move, her father took good care to pack the dishes received in marriage to ensure that nothing is broken. Fortunately, the new home was within walking distance. He had the idea of carrying the box itself containing dishes. Slowly but surely, he advanced confidently until the very moment he stumbled. All dishes wedding ended up in pieces. But the real tragedy is not that one. Indeed, his wife never ceased to remind him that incident for 30 years. She lived in the prison of anger, violation and the refusal to forgive. And he lived in the prison of shame and humiliation.

The tragedy of the killings at the Polytechnique in Montreal December 6, 1989 has shocked not only 14 families, including mine (my sister Annie is one of the victims), but all and each of us. A firearm in the hands of a young man has taken the lives of 14 women because they were women. What could they do to the POWER OF A FIREARM? For reasons we never understand, the boy lived in a prison of hatred against, he said, feminists. Finally, it cost him his life.

I can testify to you this evening when the huge wave of sympathy that followed this tragedy has helped us greatly. However, we needed within our family of eight whole years to relieve us of our grief and start talking about us Annie. WE HAVE LIVED IN THE PRISON SENTENCE, THE ABSENCE OF MEMORY AND PAINFUL

Today, the memory of the tragedy of the Polytechnic remains difficult but we have the consolation of knowing that thousands of men and women are committed firmly against all forms of violence against women, especially those relating to murders and injuries caused by firearms. A growing awareness has emerged. By cons, nothing is gained. The struggle for human rights and respect for women continues. A question remains relevant: HOW IS IT THAT A MAN WHO CLAIMS TO LOVE HIS WIFE IS CAPABLE OF KILLING ?

Another question added today: how can a priest abuses a child? It can also be a father or a mother, an older brother, an uncle, a psychiatrist, a judge, a politician, a military ... ... from anyone who has a "power".

Blessed Mary of the Incarnation itself is facing these issues. She speaks in an interview with his son, a monk. Why, ask the latter, having received the Eucharist, not only do we become saints? Meanwhile, Blessed Marie de l'Incarnation wondered why the priests who touched the eucharistic body of Christ (at the time, communion did gave on the tongue) do they hurt?

The answer of St. Mary of the Incarnation: IT'S BECAUSE WE DO NOT OBSTACLES OTE separates us from God.

What barriers? The biggest barrier that separates us from God's love is so inconsiderate, that is to say, our selfishness. It is our selfishness makes us prisoners of the plot of "power" that we hold. It is up to us dispossession of ourselves, that is to say to detach ourselves from ourselves to finally receive Christ.

BE DETACHED means two things:

1) Just Clean DETACH like a stain on a garment

2) Remove the CLIPS = strings = bad habits our privileges =

Despite our noble efforts, we fail easily. Fortunately, most of the work is done by God himself, insofar as we act let us. Today, here and now, we offer to God in a gesture of trust. Let breath deeply breathe the winds of life of the Spirit is "pneuma", that is to say the breeze of the love of God.

Jesus gave his life (= detachment) on the cross so that each of us finds a way of life for eternity.

OFFERING MY LIFE ON THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS, I'm free ME ALSO MY CHAINS OF MY FEARS AND MA INSIDE JAIL. IT IS THE MEANING OF THE FEAST OF CHRISTMAS.

Catering Prices/ Hor Dourves

Quebec Letter No. 5

I hosted a retreat at the parish church of St Lawrence from 5 to 8 December. During this retreat, I discussed the power of love as opposed to the love of power and our paths of liberation of our prisons while walking home to an act consistent with our beliefs. A visit to the prison in Three Rivers was also held to promote an exchange of Christmas cards.

PART TWO of five episodes

TOPIC: THE POWER OF LOVE IN OPPOSITION TO THE POWER OF LOVE

To read the Gospel of Matthew 2, 1-18

King Herod rules over a country occupied by the Romans. Despite this oppression, there is an economic prosperity that allows Herod to engage in major construction projects, including the Temple of Jerusalem. It is violent and domineering: a king-dictator who abuses his absolute power and corrupting. It acts in secret. He also amassed a personal fortune with the goodwill of the Romans and the people have a fierce hatred for him. That is why Herod imagines conspiracies. He lives in a terrible fear. He is wary of everyone and protects the trick. He has the right to life and death over his subjects with impunity. He does not hesitate to preserve its power even at the cost of MURDER OF INNOCENT BABIES.

JESUS is a helpless baby. He has nothing. His parents are poor. Jesus is born in a stable scheduled for keeping animals. His apostolic life, as the example of the healing of a leper, clearly shows that Jesus "has power" to heal but does not seek to "exercise power", especially politics. Indeed, " he stood and prayed removed. Jesus carries the liberating power of love on body sick and suffering souls. He does not have the power abuser Pharisees. He says that his kingdom is not of this world.

AND WE, who are we like? At Herod or Jesus?

What power do we want hold? What power do we exercise? What are we trying to protect or maintain at any cost, even sacrificing the other? What kind of authority do we exercise? At home or at work.

HEROD IS PRISONER OF HIS AUTHORITY.

ITS POWER IS HIS PRISON

Herod is afraid of losing power. Looking at our human nature, all of us, imprison us in our fears, our regrets, our control structures. Too often, feeling threatened, we will take the lowest to justify our incompetence.

CHURCH BEARS A HEAVY BURDEN OF ABUSE OF POWER

For the channel of a control culture, the Institutional Church (hiérarchique!) acted against the freedom of conscience by spreading the FEAR motel sin and of hell, fear of the Protestants, fear to do otherwise or differently. When people have decided to no longer be dominated by fear, they then left the institutional church. Were they right? Who knows, maybe God is calling them from the outside to exit a be too rigid. God, is it not as outside? Sometimes you have to give big broom to clean a house. Unfortunately, acting with excessive force, the dust rises by invading the whole house. She eventually invade the entire space, irritates the eyes and cause coughing. This dust is the "rage and anger against the Church which unfortunately seems to drag on, especially in the media.

OUT OF OUR PRISONS

The Christmas message is a call to freedom. If Jesus is our Savior, then we must free ourselves from the desire to exercise dominating power. " I came to serve and not to be served ," said Jesus. We are too often dominated by our desires for domination and control over our lives and our destiny as if, finally, we ourselves were small gods. However:

CHRIST IN FIGHTING EVIL AND SUFFERING, BROKEN CHAINS MISTRUST INSTINCT TO LIBERATE THE CONFIDENCE IN THE FREE RADICAL LIFE.

Unfortunately for us, Christmas has become a prison. So we need to reclaim the true meaning of this festival which has become hyper-commercial with its exchange of gifts! JESUS was kidnapped CRADLE OF ITS POOR BY THE POWER OF MONEY. Christmas has become the party of Bebel. That! It is the abuse of economic power of Herod today. Nowadays, we do not celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Jesus, we abuse this child rather to exercise our "fill" of consumers.

I suggest a Christmas without Bebel. Is this possible? Why do not exchange gifts on New Year's Day a true celebration of family and friends or start a new year? In addition, it would allow us to take advantage of discounts after Christmas! This would be our way to defeat propaganda advertising.

INVITATION: RESPONDING TO THE MONETARY AUTHORITY OF LOVE we hold SO WE FOCUS ON THE POWER OF LOVE AND SO WE AFFORD TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD IN THE IMAGE OF JESUS OF BETHLEHEM.

Stressed Encouragement

pending against Christmas ...

Song On Santa Clause 2 At The Restaurant

Quebec

I hosted a retreat at the parish church of St Lawrence from 5 to 8 December. During this retreat, I discussed the power of love as opposed to the love of power and our paths releasing our inner prisons while walking to a act according to our convictions. A visit to the prison in Three Rivers was also held to promote an exchange of Christmas cards.

PART five episodes

I led a parish retreat there a dozen years. At last night a man asked me a question at the very least strange "when are you going to scare us?" For him, a parish retreat was synonymous with a time of fear. Is this the memory of another time when, during the parish retreats, THE FIRE OF HELL was more important than FRESHNESS OF PARADISE? For my part, I do not intend to scare you with scary stories. IN FACT, TO FEAR IS AN ABUSE OF POWER.

In the early years of evangelization Nyasaland, now Malawi, so the early 20 th century White Fathers worked hard to develop the infrastructure necessary for their work. They did an outstanding job in often very difficult. While learning the local language, Chichewa, they taught catechism.

Still, one of these mornings, a good father taught catechumens little danger of dying in a state of mortal sin and ending up in hell. The father had the good idea to illustrate his teaching with a "real" picture of hell he had carefully brought with her luggage.

- That, my children! It's hell, "he said with a deep voice. You see the flames? Haa! It's terrible, my kids. Here you see is Lucifer, the master of hell with his diabolical fork. There! Look! This is the great clock of hell. This clock is called ALWAYS-NEVER: always suffering, never go out, always suffering, never go out, and that for all eternity.

As the father wanted to rest a bit, he asked the children to look closely at the picture and meditate. Returning to the first floor room, the father threw a glance and is pleased that the children trembled a little by pointing the finger at the picture of hell. His teaching had borne fruit.

Was he no sooner arrived in his room that he heard the children's father laughed. Leaning from the balcony, he s'aperçu the children pointed to a photo of the finger but instead of being afraid, they laughed. He returned to full speed.

- Look at my father, look!

- Yes, I see. It is the fire of hell. But why are you laughing?

- There, there, look!

- Yes, yes, I watch. And then!

- Look! All people in hell are white !

TO FEAR IS AN ABUSE OF "POWER"

Scare, it imposes a form of control over the other. By fear, ideology, military regimes or dictatorships, the Mafia, parents or teachers or the authoritarian priests exercise a dominating power.

In the cultural vision of many African countries, the exercise of this power over the will of the people is exercised through the accusations of witchcraft. In fact, we all become witches when we seek to control the thinking of others. Our greatest wizards we are advertising against which we must stand firm not to succumb to their influence, I would say "hell" circulars, newspapers, TV, radio, Internet. "We note that the CONSUMPTION ABUSE incessant and is now the new world religion. All are subject to large mass-permanent BROADCAST . (La Presse, November 29, 2010: Norman Chatigny, Michel Heroux, Denis Larose, Jean-Noel Tremblay)

Jesus consistently trusted God until his final victory over death. Jesus offers us a path to eternity. Do we really believe? We are called to freedom, the children of God. This freedom allows us to pray without fear because God is Father. Even in its greatest tribulation, Jesus continued to live with that certainty the presence of the Holy Spirit comforting. When you pray, Jesus said, say: Our Father which art in heaven ... lead us not into temptation, but deliver us evil.

WHEN WE PRAY TOGETHER, WE CALL ON GOD DO NOT LEAVE U.S. ALONE TO FIGHT EVIL.

Because of our weakness, we can effectively combat the evil with the help of Jesus. Otherwise, it's us up to fail. The biggest thing that threatens us, "said the priest of Ars, is disregard of the infinite goodness of God in Jesus Christ. I invite you for a few days of the Parish to be children again beloved of God comforter, a good God and Father, a God that he used to call "God."

Company Speech Sample

Outside, the snow glitters in the dark under the light orange streetlights. The apartment is empty, or almost. Only some furniture we leave here, two plants that give a little life, five postcards on the wall. At 7am yesterday morning, the movers took everything, direction, across the Atlantic.

Thursday evening, Nico is gone already. With him, Chipie, slung over 17h: 17h traffic jams, waiting, flying, still waiting and congestion yet. Arrived safely in Paris, he is sleeping right now, near the Rue des Martyrs. Lots of memories, dreams and projects. It features our paperwork ready for a smooth stroke of humor to the scary French administration in its pride is often misplaced.

I'm staying until 23 December. Eleven more days. I will participate in the distribution of food baskets Sun Youth to needy families in Montreal, From December 18 (weekends included!).

night, the snow plows go raging in front of us after the snowstorms of the last days (20cm!). Our windows without curtains on the ground floor let go their lights twirling and our windows too fine send me their incessant beeping in your ears, and the ground shakes like a building collapsing. Eye Nico and I'm looking Chipie to laugh with them, but not finding them, I go back on my head my sleeping bag and plunge deeper into the couch. Sleep.

The day I go to the job, feet in the snow and head into the blue skies of winter in Montreal. I look people, I look at the streets, I feel I sniffed the smells and neighborhoods. How do you do already, to say goodbye? I should know, however, after saying goodbye to so many countries, cities, friends ...

Yesterday leisurely drive 100km north of Quebec City. Almost 9 car in the day. 9am to talk. 9am to think - to sleep, too, if not better do it at night! Outside, the city and then the fields, the fields and then the trees, green to blackish, the river, gray, and then the snow, white. And light. Transparent and étiencelante. That of winter. That of the blue. Razante. Sharp and tender. Like Quebec. As Jean-Pierre and Luc Ferland Rochelière of passing on the sound system; Fiori as of yesterday and today Caracol.

Along the road, too, travel souvenirs. My feet against the windshield as the van this summer, Montreal is in Quebec City Toronto Vancouver as flat, as straight, as long as the Trans. As intense. So free. Like diving into the sky. Let go of his job. Going on the road. Follow your instincts. Write a novel. Making a film in two months. Talking on the radio. Working for help. Help without anything in return. Want rather than feared. Love and hug without always be restricted. Change. Always. While remaining oneself. Become. Itself. Grow. Know each other. Alone (e), to two. These three years in Quebec, that was it.

And beside me, still in the car, a friend. These three years was that, too. Those that have crossed our roads, the ones that started to love, those we can no longer happen. Some French and other expatriates, uprooted, who, like us, know exactly where you are. Other destabilized, affected by a foreigner in their mixed identity.

The freedom of America and the sensitivity of Quebec. Three years ago, groundhogs went to Canada. Three years later, they return Quebec - Montreal! These people everywhere who seek and accept. These languages mingle and this French again. In terms we understand, we learn, we finally pogne. And we can not let go, because they are inherently, turns of thought. "Plate" is not "damage" and "correction" is not "ok", "cellar" is not "con" and "pocket" is not "zero". And English, "frat" is not "bud" - the subtlety is in the impossible translation.

And on this road that brings me back for a few more days in my home we are in Montreal, I think sadly that the novel draws to a close. I will in a few days, turn the last page. We do not choose to finish a novel. It comes to an end. The story was so good that we have not seen the pages pass. Sadness takes you to close the last page. But happiness grabs you, too. From having read it. Know with certainty that you will now wear track. On the table, this book back, and you, a little beauty. Without putting the words you have swallowed. By

also those who shared. Those with whom together we will write later. Here, there, tomorrow or in ten years.

Gallbladder Polyps Attacks During Pregnancy

Letter No. 4 No. 3

Quebec, November 17, 2010

The Gospel passage where Jesus invites himself to Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10) comes back into memory on the Sycamore which the little man climbed up to see him pass the Son of man. "Have you seen this tree?" , you say. Certainly not this one, but I've seen a sycamore.

That day I was in Karonga, northern Malawi, not far from lake. As usual, the heat of the day we were dehydrated. The sun finally set, we met for dinner under the trees in the backyard of the motel where we stayed. And that's where I saw for the first time a sycamore. In

wide trunk, say 50 centimeters in circumference, some branches extend over a very long distance perfectly parallel with the ground at an angle of 90 o with the tree. I was in awe of the majesty of the sycamore that offer protection against the sun by day and keep us from seeing the stars at night.

high enough, I could still imagine that young men can climb on the largest branch by helping each other. Surprisingly, as the passage from Luke, Jesus tells Zacchaeus to come down quickly because he wants to stay at his home. Imagine the scene!

A crowd pressed against Jesus. The apostles were struggling to contain the people who walk slow. Zacchaeus gets help to climb onto the limb of the sycamore where men congregate already know as birds do on an electric wire. There is no better place to "see" from above while being away from the hustle.

How Jesus he recognized the midst of this turmoil? How could he describe this little bird on the branch in the middle of so many others? It did not matter. What matters is the sycamore.

This tree represents us. That is we are talking about. This trunk is our life. With age, we rounded and hardened his body and mind. The arms are those of our love, our work, our travels, our loyalties, our emotion, our science, our accomplishments. But the most visible and closest to the ground, in parallel with the reality of the world is the branch of our disappointments, our sin.

And Zacchaeus is us too. We are sitting on the largest branches, that of our suffering humanity. It is on this branch that we hold strongly to "see" Jesus. But it's ground, where seeds of life that Jesus calls us.

- "Come down quickly: today, I must stay home."

Quick, Zacchaeus came down with joy.

about us! What do we want to get off the branch on which our misfortune we hold on and refuse to let go. And me! Who am I to tell you about this? I'm so afraid of passing on and say to Jesus: "Lord, I am giving to the poor half of my property and if I have wronged someone, I'll give him four times. "

It is easy to remember those who have harmed them. For cons, I find it difficult to "see" the people I myself wronged.

- "I have a remedy to rub your eyes to see clearly. All those I love, I show them their mistakes and correct them. So be strong and become a true believer, "says the Lord. "I am standing at the door and knock ... I take my meals with you." (Apocalypse 3, 18d-20).

- "Today salvation has come to this house ... Indeed, the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."

In Christ's name, open roads Gospel

Take a journey without knowing where it leads! No thank you! Not for me. I'm not the adventurous type. Yet, for thirty years, from England via the Congo and more recently Malawi, I roll my hump in a blind trust.

Anywhere, I know a brother or sister in Christ's name receive me. It is He who draws the path. It IS the gospel that I proclaim somehow in French, English, Kiswahili and Chichewa. I am not an adventurer in search of a bullshit story. I try to be guided by Him who cracked open the horizons of the unknown.

With the exception of economic development, I do not see any difference between Africa and here. The human heart is the same everywhere. Fear rubs dreams of easy success. The reality remains mysterious, or even intangible. The journey of emotions going in all directions and often stops before the impassable walls of hatred, rebellion or distress. There is also the impulses of generosity, unconditional hospitality, love and forgiveness. One day, Jesus tells us, a rich man was partying every day. A poor man named Lazarus had nothing to eat. But they died, and an impassable gulf separated them. Neither he nor his brother knew not listen.

is the drama, and despite the undoubted progress means of communication, we avoid dialogue and s'obstinons maintain erroneous beliefs. The abyss is not elsewhere than on earth among nations powerful and technologically underdeveloped countries, between knowledgeable and ignorant, to the holders of power weapons and victims, between ideologically opposed political systems, between religions, between neighbors and even within our own families.

How then fill those chasms? In Christ's name, open paths of the Gospel. Open is to dare to trust the unknown. The roads are for life. In this, there is a call to offer our vulnerability so that together we were fighting evil. Jesus is the perfect example of the full opening to the Father's will. His path leads him to death on a cross from which gusted unimaginable love of God and a life of eternity. We all carry this mission to reach the door of our fears to dare take the road of hope. This is especially true that our church is undergoing a deep crisis. This is no time to hide. Instead, more than ever, we live in faith and love, perseverance and gentleness.

In England, the Congo or Malawi, I had to learn everything starting with the languages and customs. I seem to have done so little. The key is No very start walking, walker, wheelchair or even dream about. Whatever! There are disabled and sick who are a long way to bridge the injury of misunderstandings, blunders, of indifference or blindness. I do not know where I'm going but I'm still going because I know that Jesus leads me, even beyond death.

Is It Okay To Shower With Silver

Quebec No. 1

Trois-Rivières, August 14, 2010

I'm back in the land of less than two weeks after a three-year stay in Malawi [i] . I plunges abruptly into another world. Nothing is similar or almost. Fortunately, I sail in these two parallel worlds without too much difficulty. I feel good here and there, free and happy.

This morning on the bike path, I had barely exceed cycling a man older than me who was traveling in inline skates. Moreover, he followed me very closely, despite my efforts to distance.

- " Continuing, he said, you're going at a good speed and you save me 30% of energy ."

My pride helping me, I rode the best I could to earn a thank you to the end of the race.

- " Have you seen the race track Grand Prix? , asks another cyclist, when I get off where I knew the energy saving my first skate athlete aligned. And then I understood! Here too, Trois-Rivieres, we strive in parallel worlds; the Grand Prix and the Festival of the Assumption.

The first is noisy, exciting, exhilarating and alcohol, helping bars, sex. The money is running at the pace of racing cars and everybody seems happy, especially at the height of the gr ande wheel located downtown.

The second is peaceful, internalizing, calling to prayer on the theme of joy and hope. Even the wheelchairs move slowly. The crowd, because it is there, past the age of overtaking fast and young, for the most part, have black skin.

Me! I go to the Sanctuary and I see that the Church in Quebec has lost its momentum of old who was at the forefront be relayed to the last position of the pack in the race. It is advanced by all sides as to be often forgotten. For cons, the Church is still in the race. She remains on course to reach the finish line. As in the fable of the hare and the tortoise, the Church "the People of God in motion" wanders slow but confident. This is the work of hope. Faith leads us to Jesus through his mother Mary who we trace the path that is not a racetrack. The candles replace the red lights.

Grand Prix and the Festival of the Assumption are available the same day and it sounds contradictory. Indeed, there is room for everyone in Trois-Rivieres even if there are not enough bedrooms to accommodate all visitors.

Like a bicycle, the Grand Prix uses the 6 th speed while The Festival hits the first. It is hoped that the followers of racing will cross the finish line with the satisfaction of living a great time with friends and family. Also hope that the festival this year with its new and enjoyable form of prayer in his lively songs of Taizé, Latin and Creole, revives the hope of a large church in decline.

"Monday, it was violent, there was case sensitive and high school students threw projectiles on the administration and teachers. It was scary.
- It not acceptable to say it like that! They treat our young thugs, one can not say that's not true!
- I did not deal with thugs indiscriminately, I noticed that some of their actions were not acceptable!
- It's the same, it was not our young people. You have spoken with our youth? They'll talk about unemployment, poverty and all that!
- I understand. But I think that even you can not handle all the thugs, we can not say that they are all angels. Especially the phenomena of groups change behaviors.
- I do not agree. And anyway, given what they live, can I give you 20 reasons why they do that!
- I see some ... But what do you do to change that? What do you do to prevent them from expressing their unhappiness in their school caillassant?
- You go into the street and you vote right, already! "

" Madam, I was super scared Monday! You think they're going to attack us?
- Hey, lady! Even if they type it on you, I do not want to see it!
Madam, but why they do that? "

" Monday, to stop, I talked to a student who is honest and reasonable, he said Monday that nothing had happened, to stop to say anything! It's an excuse for failing to do over there, want to close the school! There was nothing! A little more, we will do close the school for stuff that happened at Orleans! "

Event.

Young run through the processions, hoods on their heads, brandishing fireworks that emit sparks and smoke.
Behind them, men in civilian clothes, batons in hand.
They run behind the young, and seem to fall back on the crowd rather than away from it.
Blows rain.
A little further on the sidewalk, two young people sitting, blood on his forehead and bruises on his face.

men tore the posters "disarm the police," and ran into the crowd.
