The twentieth anniversary of the Polytechnique tragedy leaves no one indifferent. My poem of 6 December on the Internet and published in the Journal of the Church of Three Rivers this month has triggered various reactions. I received several messages of support. In other cases, such as Françoise David, there is a real sympathy without adhering to the spiritual dimension of the poem. It is true that it is a prayer.

Marc Lepine was not sick. He was disturbed by a false image of women. (See attached article I wrote about this in the newspaper La Presse in Montreal a decade ago.)
Far be it from me to condemn her mother. All of us at one time or another in our lives, we were also disturbed, agitated, disturbed or disrupted. So where does this assertion of the same commentator who exclaims, saying, "if

That's why we stopped believing in God or Jesus, then, I'm disagree.
Accusing God or Jesus for the violence we are the sole responsibility equivalent to denying the incarnation of Love.
Refusing to rely on God or Jesus is to confess our pride to live without faith or law.
The truth is simple: we reject Jesus by claiming 'it's a sham'!
The truth is that the Man-God is indeed came to earth and we do not want to host it.
The real business is that we're all sick about this land and there is someone who can heal us of the bitterness; Jesus.

inspire our lives Until the day we will live our death instead of letting die life MURDER OF AN IMAGE My sister Annie was murdered at the age of 23 years. This tragedy happened Dec. 6, 1989. That day, a young man enters the École Polytechnique in Montreal with a semi-automatic rifle legally purchased a few days earlier. Within 22 minutes, He shot 28 people. Fourteen women were killed.
The shock wave propagates across the country and beyond borders. The victims are killed for the sole reason of being women. Taken at random, they symbolize the eyes of the abuser's unhappiness. He can no longer discern the reality of his imaginary impulses. A distorted image of women traumatized this young man. He became enraged, claiming that 'feminists have ruined his life.
The ease with which the killer acquires a firearm with ammunition is further troubling. He entered without inspection at an institution of higher education and executes its plan for the police department in shambles. The carnage ends in a burst of conscience after stabbing his last victim.
Suddenly, the horror of his act insane has nothing comparable with these violent films he likes where death is commonplace. There is no way to remove the screen. Blood covered his hands. The cries of anguish are silent forever. The image shatters like a mirror, giving way to real faces. The damage is done. He then returned the weapon against himself. It is the latest victim of another image, that of the hero fighters that are running their own righteousness.
In June 1998 I had the honor to know Paul Hebert, venerable actor renowned. Like me, he participated in Quebec to award students who participated in a writing activity on problems of sexism and violence in society. "Aggressive
, he says, is an inescapable reality of our human condition. We are born with it. Someone who would be so low that it lacks become incapable of projecting into the future. It is like an engine that allows us to remain upright face of hardship of life. Our freedom lies in choosing to exercise this aggressiveness or control. "
In this regard, the genius advertising capitalizes on an image by focusing on a specific point which leaves little alternative to the consumer. However, according to Paul Hebert, dramatic play is fascinating in that the word suggests a thought instead of the image thing. He rightly states that we must be wary of the image. Some photographic and computer trickery gives a picture more lifelike. Frustration forces, wants to succeed at the same rate as the images too quickly evaporated.
Contrary to the image, the word is more respectful. By his suggestion, it preserves the freedom of the listener who judges based on merit. He can then make your own opinion.
Beautiful images inspire calm and cool while some words attack. Clearly, a menacing image of the woman caused the death of my sister Annie and her 13 companions. The murderer was frightened found no word on his way constructive to allow it to internally balance the aggressiveness he wore. A false picture has so far owned his own misfortune. More than
picture, I lost one I love. I miss her confidence and her laughter. My family and I still cry when this extraordinary woman and determined to push back the frontiers of the impossible. I mean the victims because the media talk too aggressors. Headlines cite their names so that those killed appear only briefly in the statistics. It is time to change roles. The tragedy of the Polytechnic is the trigger of a desire for 80% of Canadians support a stricter control of firearms. This will is expressed in Bill C-68 of the federal government. What image do I retain? No more trick possible. Like those murdered today, the faces of my sister Annie and her friends are forever disfigured.
In his delirium, a young man wanted to destroy an idol that frightened.
